FAQ

How do I wash my woven wrap?

Woven wraps are among the easiest and most durable carriers to maintain! We've been machine-washing them since 2007, and they can still be safely used. Use a mild baby detergent, similar to what you use for baby clothes. If washing with other items, mix with similar colours. You can air-dry or tumble-dry on medium heat. Like old jeans, air-drying may make it stiff, so give it a few spins in the dryer or tie it a bit to regain its softness.

Can I breastfeed using a woven wrap?

Yes, the woven wrap allows for discreet breastfeeding by adjusting the fabric to support your baby during feeding. You can position your baby comfortably, and the wrap is easy to adjust with your baby inside. With practice, you'll be able to breastfeed hands-free with a simple tie.

How do I know if my baby is positioned correctly in the woven wrap?

Make sure your baby's airways are clear by ensuring you can easily slip two fingers under their chin and their face is visible. Their back should be well-supported in a "C" shape, with their knees higher than their bottom in an "M" position. Your baby should be close enough to kiss.

What are the benefits of a woven wrap compared to other baby carriers?

The woven wrap offers great flexibility in carrying positions, optimal support for the baby, and balanced weight distribution for the wearer, making it comfortable for extended periods.

How do I choose the right length of a woven wrap?

The wrap length depends on your base size, which is the length needed for a front wrap cross carry. This typically ranges from 4.2 meters (size 5 or XS) to 5.7 meters (size 8 or XXL), depending on your body type. If you use other knotting techniques, a shorter wrap may also be suitable.
